Person-Centred Therapy, Supervision and Training in Lanarkshire and Glasgow.
Taking Care of All of You.

Much of what has hurt us in life has happened in relationships with others. So I know that sometimes the thought of opening up to someone, especially someone you don't yet know or trust, can be daunting and scary.

I know too, that relationships can also be a source of healing and that a therapeutic relationship can offer a chance to have a different experience of what relationships can be.

I offer you a space to explore any issues that are important, or are of concern to you.

Safety in relationships comes about by having your opinions and thoughts listened to and accepted as valid. It comes about by the person that you're with being consistent, reliable, and trustworthy. It comes about by you being able to disagree without any fear of being rejected, punished, or otherwise feeling diminished. It means feeling relaxed and comfortable in your body and mind.

My own experiences of life, and my personal journey and development, has given me an insight into myself and others that allows me to work in a compassionate and non-judgemental way.

I'm a qualified Counsellor, Couples Counsellor, and Supervisor providing a unique, holistic approach to taking care of your mind/body health and wellbeing. I believe that the mind and body can't be separated; they affect and influence each other, and so I pay attention to what's going on in your body, as well as what's going on in your mind. Working in this way helps you integrate and make sense of ALL of your experience. This is particularly important when someone has experienced traumatic events in their life.

I also offer training in personal development and specific CPD for therapists.
