Hello and Welcome!

What’s in a name?

Hello and Welcome to my website.

I hope to keep you all up to date with any courses that I am running.

‘The Embodied Therapist’, and ' Creating Safety in Therapy' have been a great success, and I really enjoyed delivering them. Feedback suggested that they both were a good balance between formal input, experiential exercises and discussion. So for all of you who missed them, look out for the next time they run, as well as new topics. I will also keep you up-to-date on my Facebook page – Synchronicity Therapy.

I’m also excited about recommencing my Massage Therapy practice. After a few years’ break it feels good to be back doing bodywork. I have been developing ways to integrate my two disciplines over the last few years and think that I’ve got to a point where I can ‘go public’ with a more integrated approach. The body and mind are inescapably linked, each affecting the other, and having an understanding of these effects can be beneficial in developing a deeper understanding of ourselves. Neuroscience is providing us with evidence of this, and also of how we affect each other – how our brains are actually social organs, that can be ‘in sync’ with other brains! Isn’t that amazing? Hence the name ‘Synchronicity Therapy’.

I would like to leave you with a quote from Dan Siegel:

I am more than ‘Me’ I am connected to ‘You’ And I’m a member of ‘We’

Namaste,

Maggi
